In 2013, I got commissioned by Leo Burnett to re-think and re-design user experience and look & feel of Samsung’s product & campaign websites targeting major European markets. The project was part of an ongoing effort to create a digital style guide themed around topics ranging from product presentation to the communication of complex brand technologies (like Samsung’s own Smart TV) as well as global brand campaigns.
Design objective: Create a clean, bright, and exciting design that makes the content come alive.
Samsung is well known for offering a wide range of electronic products, as well as just its flagship Galaxy smartphones, so one of the main tasks was to conceive flexible and reusable long-form formats to tell engaging stories about all these different products. Stories which not only inform, but get people excited and interested in a product.
